 The  Patterdale Terrier Club of America was established in 1993 as the first  registry in the world in the history of the breed, and has since then  become the largest registry of Patterdale in the world. The Patterdale  Terrier Club of America was founded with the sole purpose of preserving  the unique Patterdale Terrier breed. So for many years we were the only  registration for the breed for fanciers worldwide. The club strives to  retain the breed's natural instincts and continue to gain recognition as  a viable breed. With members from 47 states and 14 countries.
